Getting stuck in an obsessive thinking loop can feel like torture. Unable to break out and being berated with fears and fixations that seem to be building in intensity. Most of us have been there before whether it’s after a rough break up, the end of a friendship or work situation, or a focus on a part of our physical being that we’re struggling with. Once our brain gets stuck on a particular worry, it can quickly gain momentum & go up in flames leaving us feeling consumed by our fixation and ruminations.
