Anger & resentment can be very heavy and destructive emotions to carry around. They keep us in a place of discontent, frustration, and bitterness preventing us from feeling at peace and in a place of acceptance of ourselves, our lives, the choices we’ve made or things that have happened to us. Often the person we most need to forgive is ourself. Yet that can feel like a Herculean task when anger seems to fire up inside of us when certain people, memories, or thoughts come to mine. So what can we do with our anger and how can we move into a place of Divine Freedom freedom through forgiveness?
